Katherine Forrest: Well, hello everyone, and welcome to this week's episode of Paul, Weiss Waking Up With AI. I'm Katherine Forrest.

Scott Caravello: And I'm Scott Caravello.

Katherine Forrest: And Scott, I have to just remark on the fact that what our audience can't see is that, not always, but there is frequently a panic that sets in when we start to pre-record as we go into the studio. And what the audience can't see is that Scott, for reasons that are just known only unto himself, usually has things flying in different directions and headphones and wires. And, you know, it's just every single time it's like a new discovery of your mic setup. And it's like there's panic, a pure panic look on your face.

Scott Caravello: You know, there's a reason why instead of actually like being in tech, I practice law related to tech is because I am so, so incapable of actually making this stuff work.

Katherine Forrest: I wish people could see like the panic and the sort of the things that aren't hooked up and then there's no wire anyway. All right, so here we are and today we're going to be talking about robotics. I had dubbed this the year of the robotics at the beginning of the year, and it turned out that we didn't talk a lot about robotics. We have these fleeces that say year of robotics. And I feel like we're here. We are. We're in like September and we haven't done a lot with robotics, but today is a robotics day.

Scott Caravello: It's about time.

Katherine Forrest: Yeah, it's about time. I did ask Amy this morning whether or not I could order a robot. I was thinking I could just have it in the house. So, you know, we had that episode one time where I did order the Optimus in advance and I had to cancel it because she was like, that's not going to work. And so I thought, well, maybe I'll just get a robot for the office, right? And my robot could sit around the office and it could sort of go get books for me or whatever it is and maybe get me a cup of coffee and walk down the hallway and, you know, all of that. But Amy is still a little freaked out by like, my personal robot that I might get.

Scott Caravello: I'm kind of with her. I'm not there yet. I'm just not there yet.
