Judges Will Respond to AI Errors with Sanctions, Katherine Forrest Tells Law360

Global Artificial Intelligence Group Co-Chair Katherine Forrest was quoted in a Law360 article on two Florida state court judges who recently required that plaintiffs disclose when they use generative AI to draft court filings and certify their accuracy. In the story, published on May 20, Katherine says court sanctions and bar disciplinary referrals over fake case citations are likely to sharply increase. “We'll see it escalate even more, if attorneys don't pay attention,” she says.
