In the wide-ranging article, published on July 24, Scott explains that the federal government has lately been more willing to resolve complex deals with remedies rather than blocking them entirely.
“If there is a pro-competitive transaction with some anti-competitive issues, they’ll look to approve the transaction, but place conditions on the problematic aspects,” Scott says.
