Catherine Nyarady and Anna Gressel to Speak About Legal Challenges and AI at ABA Business Law Fall Meeting

Litigation partner Catherine Nyarady and counsel Anna Gressel will participate in panels as part of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section Fall Meeting. Catherine will speak on “New Frontiers in the Attorney-Client Privilege,” which will cover recent developments in AI as they relate to attorney-client privilege, and Anna will participate in two panels: “Artificial Intelligence and Fintech” and “Artificial Intelligence and Implicit Bias: Addressing Discrimination in a Rapidly Changing Landscape,” the latter of which will address how implicit bias can impact the development of AI and how to navigate these issues.

The conference will take place both in person in Chicago and virtually from September 7-9. Anna’s panels will take place on September 7 at 1:30 p.m. CT/2:30 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. CT/5 p.m. ET, respectively; Catherine’s panel will take place on September 8 at 2 p.m. CT/3 p.m. ET.
