Ethan Stern is an associate in the Litigation Department with substantial experience litigating complex civil cases in state and federal courts across the country as well as in private tribunals. Ethan advises clients throughout every step of the litigation timeline, from the filing of the complaint through trial and on appeal.  He has litigated breach of contract, fraud, employment, securities, antitrust, and insurance coverage disputes for clients across a wide variety of industries, including sports leagues and companies in the technology, financial services, and manufacturing industries. Ethan also has experience representing both individual and corporate clients in government investigations and regulatory enforcement actions.

Ethan maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on voting rights, disability rights and affordable housing issues. In law school, he was a member of the Michigan Law Review.
