Gotler

Ross Gotler is Deputy Chair and Counsel, E-Discovery. In his role, Ross works with the firm’s lawyers to provide guidance on law, technology, and best practices relating to the discovery of electronic information. As head of the firm’s Information Systems e-discovery and litigation technology service teams, Ross oversees services and technologies for management of electronic information in the discovery process. Certified as a Fellow of Information Privacy, Ross also provides guidance on data privacy issues in the context of cross-border discovery.

A recognized thought leader, Ross is a frequent speaker and author on e-discovery and data privacy topics, including contributing to numerous publications of The Sedona Conference. Ross has served on the steering committee of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production and is a member of The Sedona Conference Leadership Council.

He has been named an “AI Visionary” for his efforts in promoting and adopting AI and advanced technology in the discovery process and was a member of the team honored both as a “Legal Technology Trailblazer” for its development and introduction of an innovative case management and collaboration platform and as the winner of the American Lawyer Industry Award for “Best Use of Technology.”
