Brian Kim is the Deputy Co-Chair of the Corporate Department and Global Co-Head of Finance. Brian’s practice focuses on acquisition financing, distressed debt and other financing transactions, including representing overleveraged companies in restructuring their balance sheets and private equity funds, including Apollo Global Management Inc., in leveraged buyouts. Brian has been recognized by The Legal 500 for his work in commercial lending.
EXPERIENCE
Brian also has substantial experience representing borrowers in leveraged financings and refinancings, as well as debtors, creditors and sponsors in corporate restructurings and workouts. His clients include major private equity funds and their various portfolio companies in significant acquisition and other financings, and Brian advises Apollo on matters involving companies including Donlen, LifePoint Health, New Fortress Energy, Novolex and Scion Health.
