Paul, Weiss Leads DE&I Panel at American College of Bankruptcy Annual Conference; Receives Honorarium for DE&I Efforts

Paul, Weiss led a panel presentation, “The Compelling Business Case for ESG and DEI – Why Adopting Firms Have a Competitive Advantage,” at the American College of Bankruptcy’s annual conference on April 1. Chief Inclusion Officer Danyale Price, Women’s Initiative Director Anne Weisberg, Sustainability and ESG Advisory Practice Co-Chair Dave Curran, and Sustainability and ESG Advisory Practice Director Madhuri Pavamani delivered the presentation.

Danyale, Anne, Dave and Madhuri have been instrumental in launching and driving the ACB’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiative, compiling a report of recommendations and proposals issued by the College’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Select Commission. Kelley is a founding member of the DE&I Select Commission.

In recognition of Paul, Weiss’s involvement in this effort, the ACB announced a sizeable donation in Paul, Weiss’s name to Her Justice, which provides free legal counsel to women living in poverty in New York City.

The ACB is an honorary public service association of insolvency professionals in the United States and abroad. Fellows are invited to join based on a proven record of the highest standards of expertise, leadership, integrity, professionalism, scholarship and service to the field and to their communities.
