Blackstone Group to Invest in Astaris Capital Management’s Dislocations Fund I

Paul, Weiss advised Blackstone Group in its seed investment in Astaris Capital Management’s Dislocations Fund I, a closed-end evergreen fund. As reported in the press, the new private equity-like strategy will focus on long and short bets in the credit markets and buy credit default swaps, high-yield bonds, convertibles and bank debt, among other investments. London-based Astaris Capital specializes in event-driven credit and equity investments in Europe.
