Paul, Weiss is advising alternative asset management firm Pollen Street Capital on its acquisition of Hometree Marketplace Limited, a UK-based energy services company, and Hometree’s simultaneous acquisition of OVO Energy’s Home Services division, including the CORGI HomePlan and CORGI HomeHeat businesses. The combination will create the UK’s third-largest provider of home emergency insurance and position Hometree as a market leader in technology-enabled home services and residential electrification. Pollen Street will own a majority stake in the combined group.
