Shopify Inc., a leading global commerce company, closed a $1.5 billion offering of 2,127,500 Class A subordinate voting shares at a price of $700 per share. Paul, Weiss represented the underwriters on the offering, led by Citigroup and Credit Suisse as joint bookrunners. Shopify intends to use the proceeds to strengthen its balance sheet and help fund its growth strategies.
