Restructuring partner Alice Eaton and litigation partner Billy Clareman will participate in the Practising Law Institute’s “Recent Developments in Distressed Debt, Restructurings, and Workouts 2024” program. As co-chair of the event, Alice will deliver opening remarks and participate in three panels: “Market Update: Distressed Debt and Restructurings,” “Corporate Governance, Officer and Director Risks and Claims in Distressed Situations” and “Sales of Distressed Assets.” Billy will participate in the “Hot Topics: Lightning Round” panel, which will touch on issues related to structured dismissal, golden shares and golden directors; factors contributing to successful out-of-court restructurings; and mediation updates.
The all-day in person and virtual event will take place on Friday, January 19. Alice’s panels are at 9:15 a.m. ET and 10:30 a.m. ET, respectively, and Billy’s panel is at 3:30 p.m. ET.
