Tax partner Brian Krause will moderate a panel at the New York State Bar Association’s Tax Section 2026 Summer Meeting. Brian’s panel, “Perennial Issues and Brain Teasers in Transactional Practice,” will be an interactive exploration of issues that arise in complex transactions, particularly where practice and policy intersect, discussing current thinking within and outside of government on the tax consequences of contributions of debt to capital, and recent developments in the IRS’ private letter ruling practice for corporate spinoffs.
Brian’s panel will take place in Arlington, Virgina, on June 13 at 9:15 a.m. ET.
