National Security Practice Chair John Carlin and litigation associate Josh Thompson will participate in the American Conference Institute’s 12th National Conference on CFIUS. John will participate in a panel, “Non-Notified and Enforcement: The Present and Future of What Is on CFIUS’ Radar,” looking at what sectors and types of transactions are now a priority for CFIUS, and what has changed in the past year. Josh will take part in a panel, “Year in Review: A Closer Look at the Impact of the America First Investment Policy, CFIUS Fast-Track Process and Transactions Involving Parties from Allied Countries,” which will examine the real-world impact of recent policy shifts in terms of clearances, blocks and transaction reviews.
Josh’s session will take place at 9:30 a.m. ET on April 22, and John’s panel will take place at 3 p.m. ET on April 23. Paul, Weiss is a sponsor of the conference, which will be held in Washington.
