John Carlin to Discuss Two Decades of DOJ National Security Efforts at ABA Event

National Security Practice Chair John Carlin will take part in a discussion to mark the 20th anniversary of the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division (NSD) at an event hosted by the American Bar Association. Former Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Carlin will join four former NSD leaders to discuss the mission and strength of the federal government’s efforts to defend the United States against nation-state adversaries, foreign investment risks, espionage, cyberattacks, terrorism and other national security threats.

John will be joined by fellow former Assistant Attorneys General Kenneth Wainstein, John Demers and Matthew Olsen, and former NSD Senior Counsel and Chief of Staff Kelli Andrews.

The discussion will take place on June 4 in Washington, D.C.
