John Carlin to Facilitate and Audrey Paquet to Speak at Cybersecurity and AI Governance Workshop at Global Privacy Conference

Cybersecurity & Data Protection Group Chair John Carlin will co-lead a full-day workshop, “Cybersecurity Law in the Age of AI,” at the 2026 Privacy. Security. Risk. + AI Governance Global conference hosted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The workshop will address cybersecurity law challenges in the AI era, including supply chain risk management and contract negotiations, compliance with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Data Security Program and cybersecurity laws, and incident preparedness and response, including the likelihood of new reporting requirements under the Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act. Litigation counsel Audrey Paquet will also join the workshop as a featured speaker to discuss risk related to suppliers of AI capabilities and transatlantic vendor relationships.

The workshop will take place in Seattle on October 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT.
