Elizabeth McColm and Brian Bolin Contribute Investment Fund Chapter to Americas Restructuring Review 2020

Restructuring partner Elizabeth McColm and counsel Brian Bolin co-authored the “Investment Fund Activity in Chapter 11” chapter in Americas Restructuring Review 2020 published by Global Restructuring Review. Elizabeth and Brian’s chapter examines the role hedge funds and private equity funds have come to play in U.S. bankruptcy cases, and the variety of investment strategies they deploy in distressed situations, including in connection with debtor-in-possession and exit financing, pre-negotiated and pre-packaged Chapter 11 cases, and various litigation scenarios.
