Litigation partner Joe Bial wrote the “USA” chapter in the International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG) to Cartels and Leniency Laws and Regulations 2023, published by the Global Legal Group Ltd., London. In the chapter, Joe discusses common issues in cartels and leniency laws and regulations, including legislative framework, investigative powers, sanctions, whistleblowing procedures, plea bargaining arrangements, appeal process and damages actions.
