In “A former official talks past, present and future of cyber at the Justice Department,” John discussed the ways in which he tackled the massive ransomware epidemic that took hold in the early days of the Biden administration; how the powers of the DOJ, FBI and criminal justice system evolved to become a more powerful tool in the fight against ransomware and other cyber attacks; and his transition back to private practice.
