Liza Velazquez to Discuss Restrictive Covenant Litigation Strategies at PLI Event

Litigation partner Liza Velazquez will participate in a panel, “’The Key to the Case’ - Strategies for Success for TROs and Preliminary Injunctions, Whether You are Seeking or Defending,” as part of Practising Law Institute’s Noncompetes and Restrictive Covenants 2023: What Every Lawyer, Human Resources Professional, and Key Strategic Decisionmaker Should Know program.

The panel will explore strategies and tips for moving for a temporary restraining order or permanent injunction related to an employee restrictive covenant. It will address what to evaluate when deciding whether to sue a former employee or competitor; how to decide whether an employee should file a declaratory judgment action; how to decide what state and court to file in; and how to evaluate whether and when to appeal a TRO or preliminary injunction order when you are not the prevailing party, among other skills.

Liza’s panel will take place virtually and in person in New York City on September 28 at 3:15 p.m. ET.
