January 18, 2024

Paul, Weiss’s move to a larger new Wilmington office was spotlighted in a Law360 Pulse “Office Snapshot” on January 18. The article also described the expansion of the office in recent years, highlighting the 2021 arrival of Chancellor Andre Bouchard to lead the office, as well as the office’s recent prominent litigation matters.

The new office, inside a building with a food hall, bar and other public amenities, is closer to the city center and the Delaware Court of Chancery, Law360 noted, and features more spacious offices, state-of-the-art conference rooms, abundant natural light and room to grow, as well as a secluded wellness room.

The article noted some of the firm’s recent engagements, including in high-stakes stockholder and deal disputes in the Court of Chancery, noting Paul, Weiss’s representation of the independent directors of the former CBS Corp. in connection with its merger with Viacom, and of the former directors of a special-purpose acquisition company that acquired health payment platform MultiPlan Corp. in 2020.
