The Daily Journal profiled Litigation Department Co-Chair Kannon Shanmugam as one of its 2024 “Leading Commercial Litigators.” The publication, which annually spotlights the attorneys leading the most significant business disputes impacting California, highlighted Kannon’s work winning a Ninth Circuit reversal of a criminal conviction against former U.S. Congressman Jeff Fortenberry; defending CNA insurance companies’ denials of claims for business losses during the COVID-19 pandemic; and securing three significant wins in the Second Circuit, among other noteworthy achievements.
