Litigation associate Melina Meneguin will participate in a panel, “Preserving Democracy by Protecting the Vote,” as part of the National Association of Women Lawyers’ (NAWL) annual meeting.
Featuring voting rights and election law lawyers, the panel will discuss how to ensure the right to vote is protected as eligible U.S. voters have faced increasing barriers to participating in this central aspect of democratic governance over the past decade. Melina will be joined by moderator Kristen Johnson, pro bono counsel at Cooley LLP, and fellow panelist Ami Gandhi, senior counsel of the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights.
Melina’s panel will take place in Chicago on July 21.
