Paul, Weiss Obtains Dismissal of Pro Bono Defendant's Misdemeanor Charge

Practices
Paul, Weiss obtained a dismissal for a pro bono client in New York City Criminal Court. The court dismissed the pending misdemeanor charge for disorderly behavior and vacated the client's warrant of detainer. The client, an inmate in federal prison, is now eligible for educational, vocational, rehabilitation, and other treatment programs, and no longer has an uncertain release date.
Litigation associate Christopher Terranova appeared for the client. He was supervised by partner Michael Gertzman.
