Jennifer H. Wu Highlights Impact of Shooting of Chinese-American Delivery Man on Victim’s Family in The New York Times

Litigation partner Jennifer H. Wu appeared in The New York Times on June 2 in a story on the arrest and indictment of a Queens man in the April shooting of a Chinese-American delivery man, Zhiwen Yan. Paul, Weiss is representing the wife of the victim.

Since her husband’s death, Jennifer notes, the victim’s wife has focused on helping their children cope with their father’s loss. Among her most pressing concerns is how to invest the money friends and strangers have donated. She wants to use the money to help fund her 2-year-old daughter’s education.

“It was just heartbreaking to hear,” Jennifer says in the article. “Instead of worrying about herself, she just wanted to give everything she had to her daughter.”
