Corporate partner Laura Turano and associate Kori Cooper wrote an article, “Maximizing Your Summer Associate Experience: Insights From Paul, Weiss Corporate Lawyers,” highlighting advice for law students on making the most of their time as summer associates and providing an inside look at the transactional summer associate experience at Paul, Weiss. In the article, published on June 20 in Vault’s law blog, Laura and Kori discuss selecting a firm that aligns with one’s practice goals, participating in the firm’s training and shadowing opportunities, tackling substantive work, seeking out opportunities to work on inclusive teams, and networking within the firm. They also share examples and anecdotes from Paul, Weiss’s summer associate program.
