GPs Must Plan for Every Contingency in 2022, Marco Masotti Tells Private Equity International

Private Funds Group Global Co-Head Marco Masotti was quoted in an article, “Fund terms could be defined by these factors in 2022,” published by Private Equity International. The article discusses the factors that could shape fund terms in what is expected to be a more challenging fundraising environment this year. “A fundraise is a 12- to 18-month process, and it’s more important than ever in a crowded market to plan every aspect of it with military precision – when you send out docs, when you get comments back, which LPs to engage with first,” Marco noted. He added that it’s crucial for GPs to design a process that factors in every contingency.
