Paul, Weiss is advising investment firm SSW Partners on its $1.6 billion acquisition of Germany-based food delivery company Delivery Hero’s businesses in 14 markets across Europe and South America. The acquisition was entered into concurrently with Uber Technologies, Inc.’s $14.8 billion acquisition of Delivery Hero. Under the agreement, SSW will acquire Delivery Hero’s foodora business in Austria, Czechia, Norway and Sweden; efood in Greece; Foody in Cyprus; Glovo in Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain; PedidosYa in Chile and Ecuador; and Yemeksepeti in Türkiye. 
 
The transaction is subject to the completion of Uber’s acquisition of Delivery Hero, which is expected to close in the second half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals.
