Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Paul Foote will be joining the firm in London as Head of European Infrastructure M&A within the Corporate Department. He advises private equity and infrastructure funds on a wide variety of sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions.

Foote has represented private equity and infrastructure funds on a wide variety of acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture and consortium deals, restructurings, leveraged buyouts and take-private transactions. His recent representations include Stonepeak in its agreement to acquire Castrol from BP plc, as well as its acquisitions of Forgital Group and JET; EQT in its joint venture arrangements with GIC to acquire Calisen; Blackstone Energy Transition Partners in its acquisition of SEVES Group; Blackstone Infrastructure Partners in its acquisition of Atlantia SpA; and certain equity arrangements in relation to KKR’s acquisition of Dawsongroup plc. He has previously spent time on secondment to Blackstone and Antin Infrastructure Partners.
Foote earned a Master of Arts degree from Gonville & Caius College at the University of Cambridge, a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics, a GDL from BPP University Law School and an LPC from the College of Law – London. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
