Katherine Forrest Speaks at Hofstra Law on Use of Tech and AI in the Courtroom

Litigation partner Katherine Forrest participated in a panel, “Trials & Tribulations: Technology as a Tool of the Law,” as part of Hofstra Law School’s “It’s Alive!”: Technological Growth in Tort Liability & Practice conference on April 14. Alongside fellow panelists Justice Jerry Garguilo of the New York Supreme Court and Paul LaFata of Dechert LLP, Katherine discussed the use of technology and AI during discovery and in the courtroom, including in the recent opioid litigation in New York. The panel examined issues relating to e-discovery, the use of mobile technology, data creation and data mining, and wearable tech.
