Litigation partner Catherine Nyarady’s latest intellectual property litigation column, “Recent Cases Address the Copyright Act’s Termination Right,” appeared in the July 13 issue of the New York Law Journal. Catherine discusses recent decisions that touch on the Copyright Act’s provision for artists to reclaim exclusive rights to work that became successful in the years after those rights were transferred or licensed to another party, as well as a case recently filed against Paramount Pictures over the rights to the new Top Gun: Maverick movie.
