Suncor Energy Closes Cdn$2.9 Billion Equity Offering

Paul, Weiss client Suncor Energy Inc., Canada's leading
integrated energy company, completed a Cdn$2.9 billion public
offering of 82,225,000 common shares. The co-lead underwriters were
TD Securities Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan
Securities Canada Inc. The transaction was the third-largest equity
offering ever completed by a Canadian issuer.
