Paul, Weiss represented the underwriter, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, in an initial public offering by Trepont Acquisition Corp I, generating aggregate gross proceeds of $230 million. Trepont is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) led by Arun Sarin, the former CEO of Vodafone, and Ori Sasson, a serial entrepreneur and private equity investor in the technology space, and focused on acquisition opportunities in enterprise and disruptive software, communications, AI, machine learning, data analytics, 5G, Internet of Things, services and related sectors.
