Corporate partner Robert Schumer, litigation partner Jay Cohen and entertainment/intellectual property partner Chuck Googe were featured in Variety’s 2019 Legal Impact Report.
Robert was recognized for his representations of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment. Jay was recognized for his work advising ASCAP over its antitrust consent decree governing public performance music licenses and impact of the Music Modernization Act.
Chuck was recognized for his work representing Endeavor in its acquisition of streaming platform provider NeuLion and in its merger of sports businesses. Chuck said he expects Hollywood talent to press streaming platforms for more viewership information, noting that, “In a traditional deal structure, talent would be participating in that upside financially.”
