Oaktree Capital Sells Stake in Eagle Bulk Shipping

Paul, Weiss advised Oaktree Capital Management and affiliates in the sale of Oaktree’s remaining 28% stake in Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc., one of the world’s largest owner-operators within the midsize drybulk vessel segment. Under the terms of the transaction, Eagle Bulk repurchased approximately 3.8 million shares from Oaktree for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $219.3 million.
