American Finance Trust to Acquire Multi-State Portfolio for $1.3 Billion

Paul, Weiss is advising American Finance Trust, Inc., a publicly traded REIT managed by AR Global, in the purchase of 81 multi-tenant properties throughout the United States from certain subsidiaries of CIM Group for approximately $1.3 billion, $53 million of which will be paid to the seller in equity consideration. The transaction is expected to close in phases over the first half of 2022.
