Corporate partners Scott Barshay, Jeffrey Marell and Steven Williams will participate in The Deal’s upcoming conference, “Exploring Shareholder Activism.” Scott will take part in a keynote interview with Jim Cramer, founder of TheStreet, Inc., host of “Mad Money with Jim Cramer” and an anchor on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.” Jeff’s panel, “The New Age of Activism and The Evolving Role of Institutional Investors,” will address the dynamic between influential shareholders, corporate boards and institutional investors. Steve’s panel, “Regulatory Update: The Battle Over New Rules for Activism,” will discuss the SEC’s changing regulations and restrictions, proxy advisory conflicts and “robo-voting.” The event will take place on June 6 in New York City.
