Karfunkel-Zyskind Family and Stone Point Capital Propose to Acquire All Outstanding Shares of AmTrust

Paul, Weiss is representing the Karfunkel-Zyskind family in their proposal with Stone Point Capital LLC to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. that the Karfunkel-Zyskind family does not already own or control for $12.25 per share in cash. The price represents a 20.8 percent premium over AmTrust’s closing stock price and a total equity value of approximately $2.4 billion.
