Virtu Financial Announces Merger with Madison Tyler
As reported in the Financial Times and other media outlets, on May 31, Paul, Weiss client Virtu Financial LLC announced that it has entered into definitive agreements to merge with Madison Tyler Holdings, LLC, creating one of the world's preeminent financial technology companies. The combined company, which will operate under the Virtu Financial name, will receive a strategic growth investment in support of the transaction from Silver Lake, the world's largest technology investment firm.
