Apollo to Provide €1 Billion Capital Solution to Vonovia

Paul, Weiss is advising Apollo on its €1 billion investment, on behalf of its affiliated and third-party insurance clients and other long-term investors, in a portfolio of high-quality real estate assets controlled by leading global residential real estate company Vonovia. Proceeds from the investment, expected to close in the second quarter of 2023 subject to customary closing conditions, Apollo’s insurance and institutional clients to access high-quality assets, while supporting Germany-based Vonovia’s capital allocation plans.
