Paul, Weiss advised D1 Capital Partners as an investor in a $150 million Series E financing round in leading education and upskilling platform Guild Education, valuing the company at $3.75 billion.
Guild partners with the nation’s largest, forward-thinking employers—including The Walt Disney Company, Chipotle, and Discover Financial Services—to connect their workforce with upskilling opportunities. The capital from the financing round will be used to fuel Guild’s growth, including doubling the size of the company’s product and engineering team, further investing in its payments and technology platform, strengthening its career products and services, expanding its robust coaching team, and investing in onboarding new universities and learning partners.
