Paul, Weiss is advising GoNetspeed and Greenlight Networks, the largest independent fiber internet providers in the Northeast and portfolio companies of Oak Hill Capital, in their combination and sale to a 50/50 strategic fiber joint venture formed by Oak Hill and T-Mobile. Under the terms of the deal, T-Mobile will invest approximately $2 billion to acquire a 50% interest in the joint venture upon completion of the transaction, expected in the first half of 2027. GoNetspeed and Greenlight will be integrated in order to expand T-Fiber by T-Mobile to residential customers across attractive markets, primarily in the northeastern U.S.
