Simon and Rue Gilt Goupe Announce Joint Venture Dedicated to Digital Value Shopping

Paul, Weiss is representing Simon Property Group, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, in its joint venture with digital commerce pioneer Rue Gilt Groupe, a company backed by entrepreneur Michael Rubin, to create a new multi-platform venture dedicated to digital value shopping. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and certain regulatory approvals.
