London-based securities partner Mark Bergman and corporate associate Lyudmila Bondarenko published an article discussing recent revisions to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) policy relating to confidential submissions by foreign private issuers in connection with their initial registration of securities. The article, "SEC Policy On Confidential Submissions By Foreign Private Issuers Newly Revised," appeared in the July 2012 issue of Bloomberg BNA's World Securities Law Report, and examines, among other issues, the implications of these revisions and considerations that should be addressed before making a confidential submission.
