Sequential Brands and Meredith Sign New Licensing Agreement for Martha Stewart Media

Paul, Weiss client Sequential Brands, owner of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, announced an agreement with Meredith Corporation, under which Meredith will assume the editorial and operational teams of the Martha Stewart Living and Martha Stewart Weddings publications, including related websites and other digital content, in the U.S. and Canada. The deal expands on an existing arrangement in which Meredith, the owner of well-known titles such as Better Homes and Gardens and Family Circle, performed sales, marketing and circulation functions for the Martha Stewart magazines. Sequential Brands is a major brand consolidator with a portfolio that also includes Joe's Jeans, Ellen Tracy and Jessica Simpson.

The Paul, Weiss team included entertainment partner Chuck Googe and counsel Carolyn Casselman.
