Nellson Nutraceutical Enters Into Purchase Agreement With NBTY

Nellson Nutraceutical, LLC, a portfolio company of Paul, Weiss client Kohlberg & Company, LLC, and NBTY, Inc. entered into an agreement under which Nellson will acquire certain production assets, raw materials, packaging, labeling, in process products, component inventories and contracts associated with NBTY's nutritional bar and powder manufacturing operations. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to occur during NBTY's fourth fiscal quarter.
