Paul, Weiss is advising funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management in Apollo portfolio company ABC Technologies Holdings Inc.’s $95 million acquisition of Karl Etzel GmbH from the Schürrle family. ABC Technologies is a leading manufacturer and supplier of custom, highly engineered technical plastics and lightweighting innovations to the global automotive industry. Karl Etzel is a leading tier-1 and tier-2 supplier to the German luxury Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market.
The transaction, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022, is subject to approval by the German Federal Antitrust Office and the Austrian Federal Competition Authority.
