SoftBank Invests $1 Billion in Rappi

Paul, Weiss is representing SoftBank Vision Fund in its investment, together with SoftBank Group Corp., of up to $1 billion in Latin American on-demand delivery startup Rappi. The investment marks the largest technology financing to date in a Latin America-based company.

The Paul, Weiss team includes, among others, corporate partners Matthew Abbott, Neil Goldman and Christopher Cummings; tax partner Lindsay Parks; intellectual property partner Chuck Googe; and litigation partner Jeffrey Recher.
