Stonepeak Acquires Fleet Companies

Paul, Weiss advised Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, in its acquisition of Fleet Companies, a Tennessee-based regional trailer dealership and leasing company. Fleet will serve as the seed asset for a multifaceted national trailer platform that Stonepeak plans to build out through additional acquisitions and greenfield operations across the U.S. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Paul, Weiss team was led by corporate partners Eric Wedel, Ben Steadman and Caroline Epstein, and included, among others, tax partner Robert Holo and counsel Samir Kurani and Patrick Fasoro; real estate partner Peter Fisch; litigation partners John Carlin and Nicole Succar; executive compensation counsel Jake Glazeski; and environmental counsel William O’Brien.
