Paul, Weiss Named a “Best Business Article” Finalist in Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards

Concurrences shortlisted an article written by Paul, Weiss lawyers as a “Best Business Article” in the Procedure category, as part of the publication’s annual Antitrust Writing Awards. The article, “DOJ Resolves Criminal Price Fixing Charges With Deferred Prosecution Agreements Containing Novel Divestiture Remedies,” was co-authored by litigation partners Katherine Forrest, Jacqui Rubin, Scott Sher, Josh Soven, Aidan Synnott and Brette Tannenbaum, and practice management attorney Mark Laramie. The article discusses how the DOJ’s recent resolution of criminal antitrust charges against Teva and Glenmark is notable for the use of deferred prosecution agreements rather than plea agreements.

The awards celebrate writing, scholarship, originality, practical relevance and the contribution authors make to competition advocacy in the legal and economic fields. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., on April 9.
